Phiaton BT150NC Noise Canceling Wireless Bluetooth Earphone Reviews

A follow-on model of the Phiaton BT100NC, a wireless Bluetooth earphone I've been using for over two years now, has just launched. Good sound balance and resolution, plus noise canceling technology added to it, make it feel good when using public transportation.

Package appearance of Phiaton BT150NC. The unit is equipped with a 12mm diameter driver and apt-X codec added to the latest Bluetooth 4.2 interface to support high-quality wireless transmission.

Here, the various elements have been upgraded compared to the existing products, the interface has been changed to a convenient touch method, and the automatic rewind function makes it possible to store more neatly. If the unit is housed here, it will enter the automatic power saving mode to prevent the battery from discharging even if the noise cancellation switch is not turned off.

Up to 10 hours 30 minutes of battery charge and 6 hours of noise cancellation. A 3.5 mm wired cable is provided to keep listening to music even when the battery is discharged during use. Charging is via a micro USB 5-pin connector.

When the unit is pulled to the end and released, the automatic rewind function is added automatically, so it can be stored neatly when not in use. Also, when the unit is housed, it enters the power saving mode automatically even if the noise cancellation switch is turned on to prevent unnecessary battery consumption.

The button located outside the unit changes to the touch panel, allowing easy and quick volume and track control by lightly tapping or dragging.

It has a good elastic band structure and provides comfortable wearing comfort. One of the features of the Piaton Bluetooth earphone is that the built-in vibration function allows you to check the situation more quickly through vibration notification when the phone is distant from the connected device.

A total of four types of eartips are available to provide a custom fit.

I connected to a smartphone and listened to various genres of music. Overall, the resolution was good, but I was somewhat disappointed in the tuning part of the sound that can be divided into preferences. Compared with the previous works, the bass band has been greatly emphasized, and this can give the feeling that the band is backward relatively. It can be adjusted somewhat by using the equalizer setting of the playback device, but it is judged that the sound setting is quite satisfactory. End the review.
