Kenko Celeste 77mm UV filter Reviews

Although it was originally launched for blocking ultraviolet rays, the UV filter, which is actually used for the protection of camera lenses, is made up of various products ranging from a few thousand won to several tens of times.

I used a lot of lenses as a hobby for a long time. Most of them were products of Kenko, though they were rarely used without UV filter. It had such a high price / performance ratio, and the recently enjoyed REALPRO product line had a satisfactory anti-fouling functionality that had never been cleaned by the filter.

Kenko Celeste is based on the high transmittance of the anti-pollution coating added to prevent the deterioration of image quality due to ultraviolet rays and filters, and the added convenience of maintenance through anti-pollution coating. It is applied 18 layers of multi coating.

When mounted on a lens, it is very slim with a thickness of 3.25mm. It prevents vignetting even when used in a wide angle lens and does not burden the overall volume.

Mounted on Sony 24-105G lens. It is not burdened with a slim thickness filter.

There is a coating to prevent contamination and a coating to protect from moisture. Even if you try to write with water or oil pen, you will not be able to write well, and the drenched water can be kept clean even if you swing it like this.

I am always using the Sony 24-105G lens and it is used outdoors and indoors but it is satisfactory without problems due to low image quality or light reflection. In particular, the anti-fouling function is so high that it is unnecessary to wipe the filter, which is considered to be a more satisfactory UV filter product. End the reviews.
