Gigabyte UD PRO 256GB SSD Reviews

Gigabyte, a major PC component maker, has released a new SSD. Toshiba BiCS3 3D TLS NAND flash memory and PASON controller features an external DDR3L SDRAM cache for stable performance. The price range is also very inexpensive and has a good price ratio that anyone can feel free to use.

UD PRO 256GB package looks like. It has a maximum read speed of 530MB / s and a maximum write speed of 500MB / s. It has a SATA3 interface. The warranty period is three years.

It consists of a body and user manual without any other components.

Although I personally prefer the brand Gigabyte, I also like the cleanliness of the PC parts design rather than the gorgeous ones. I like the manufacturer's logo is neatly engraved on the black metal body.

Screw holes are located on the side and bottom, making it possible to use it in various environments as well as desktop PCs. SATA3 interface and power connector

It has a thickness of about 6.7mm and is suitable for mounting on a desktop PC as well as a notebook PC.

It is attached to the main desktop PC. Most of the PC case side panels are made of acrylic or tempered glass, so the appearance of the internal mounting parts is revealed, so the design of each part is now very important. Personally I'm using a simple black & white concept, but I can see how it looks very well.

You can see the capacity of 256GB and the Python controller. The S.M.A.R.T function and TRIM ensure stable operation and optimized performance.

It has a maximum read speed of 530MB / s and a write speed of 500MB / s. It is possible to check the performance of the actual benchmarking program.

The dirty test shows that although the performance is somewhat deteriorated depending on the remaining capacity, the speed of the TLC is more stable than that of other TLC products. This is possible with an external DDR3L SDRAM cache, which is a very noticeable part of the entry level product.

I have been continuously writing for 20 minutes or longer and measured the surface temperature. I think that there will be no problem due to heat up to 40.5 degrees. Using the Gigabyte UD PRO 256GB SSD, it has a clean design and stable performance, yet at a low price, it has a high cost ratio. It is recommended if you are building a PC for the first time or upgrading from a hard disk environment. End The Reviews.
