AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Pinnacle Ridge System Reviews

I changed the case of the main PC and reconfigured the internal components to match the design and color. I am especially focused on the CPU cooler, ironically, the AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Pinnacle Ridge CPU bundle, the lace prism, which I like the most, changed CPU and motherboard.

The last use of the AMD CPU was the Phenom II, so I used AMD again in almost 10 years. Relaxation is new.

The size of the package is also bigger than Intel because it includes big and cool bundle cooler.

AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Pinnacle Ridge has 3.7 GHz operating clock on 8 cores 16 threads and can be overclocked with drain off.

Unlike Intel, the AMD CPU with a pin in the CPU itself has been in touch for 10 years, so I feel uncomfortable, so be careful not to bend the pin when assembling.

X model, which is a wrath prism CPU cooler. It supports ASUS AURA SYNC and SYNC function of various motherboards, and can be controlled by its own software by connecting a USB header cable. Cooling performance is also quite similar, so it is similar to cooler of $20. It's quite a surprise that the bundle is this quality.

On the side, a port for connecting the motherboard sink and USB header, and a LOW / HIGH switch are located. When it is HIGH, it operates up to 3,600RPM to improve cooling performance. If you like quiet environment, you can use LOW to limit it to 3,000RPM. Based on the cooling performance, we will select it considering the PBO function that automatically overclocks.

It consists of an easy way to put the clip on both sides and tilt the lever.

The motherboards consisted of ASUS PRIME X470-PRO, which I liked the most in white and black color design.

All assembly is complete. Personally, I do not like colorful LED tuning, so I have configured a general fan cooler with no LEDs in the system and configured it by adding only RGB LED of CPU cooler. Based on the neat NZXT H500i Matte White case, the overall configuration is very pleasing. It is ironic that the bundle CPU cooler is the one I liked the most when I changed the case to the CPU and main board.

Let's compare the performance of the Intel i7 8700K. The same operating clock, but with two more cores, the 2700X scored better, and the single-threaded score is higher.

CINEBENCH R15 is even better performance. If you are working with a lot of cores, you can get better performance than 8700K.

However, the performance in the game is somewhat lower than 8700K. The Fire Scrike overall score is higher at 8700K, even though there is a slight difference in composition and score as the graphics card is changed. 8700K is more suitable than the 2700X if you mainly focus on games.

I played PUBG. I am using a monitor with a refresh rate of 144Hz at 2560x1440 (QHD) resolution and I have set the overall quality to low.

I can play with 110 ~ 140 frames during the game. Although the frame is somewhat jittery compared to the 8700K which has a small frame change width, it is sufficient to enjoy battle ground with QHD resolution of 144Hz in combination with the GTX1080.

AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Pinnacle Ridge system was configured and used, and I was able to see good caustic ratios. It has enough performance from basic operation to gaming, and can perform better than Intel 8700K for tasks such as video editing and rendering. Especially, thanks to the Race Prism basic CPU cooler equipped with the RGB LED, which has a neat design, the system is more satisfactory. End the reviews.
