HiRes High Definition Reference Headphones Audio Technica ATH-MSR7b Reviews

Audio Technica, a professional sound company, has introduced a new HiRes high quality reference headphone. The ATH-MSR7b models are light weight, high resolution playback, and 4.4mm 5-pole balanced cables for even more left and right separation. Let's take a closer look.

It is the appearance of the package. HiRes logos for high-resolution sound sources and logos for balanced cable delivery are available.

On the back, there is a description and detailed specification of the 45mm True Motion driver installed inside. Compared to the 40th anniversary model ATH-MSR7 I experienced three years ago, it has a much wider frequency range of 5-50,000Hz and has a sensitivity of 36 ohms with sensitivity of 101db / mW.

The interior of the package is also very luxurious.

Portable pouches are made of soft material, and two types of cables are provided.

This is a 3.5mm cable that can be used to connect to a smartphone or a general device.

4.4mm 5 pole balanced cable is included as standard. If connect to a device that supports a balanced cable connection, will experience even better left and right separation.

Gunmetal silver & brown color, red point in the housing which mixed aluminum and magnesium, and finished appearance which is fashionable. In case of black color, there are points in blue. Personally, I like gunmetal color more.

Both units support swiveling, which allows you to carry with less volume. Equipped with a cushioned ear pad with a fluffy cushion.

The ear pads can be removed and the plastic housing enclosing the unit can be identified.

It can adjust the length of the hair band so that everyone can feel the best fit.

The cables are connected to each unit. 3.5mm stereo cable or 4.4mm balanced cable can be connected and used.

Connect to the Sony NW-A45 and listen to music. The best high-frequency tuning for the ultimate clarity, the low-cost, uncompromising low-end configuration is what I like about Audio Techica's products, and the ATH-MSR7b reference headphones can feel that. It also has a very light weight, a bigger ear cup and a fluffy ear pad, and offers a comfortable fit even when worn with appropriate tension.

I connected to Audinst DAC and listened to music in PC environment. You can enjoy excellent sound based on powerful output than portable devices. I am very satisfied with the PC environment as well as the portable environment. Compared to other reference headphones, the low-frequency emphasis is not excessive, and the high-frequency range is relatively clearly expressed, making it more satisfying for various genres. If you like powerful bass, you might feel a bit disappointed, but if you like high definition sound, you will be satisfied. I think it's a great product for a brand called Audio Technica. I finish the reviews.
