32 inch 144Hz gaming monitor LG 32GK850F Reviews

Recently, the monitor market has been launched with a variety of specifications depending on the needs and environment of users such as gaming and 4K. Especially for gaming monitors, it is optimized for FPS game play with soft expression based on high refresh rate such as 144Hz.

Before purchasing the LG 32GK850F, there were three 32-inch monitors on the home desk. It's a gaming monitor with a VA panel, a 4K product for TV and video viewing, and a 144Hz refresh rate at QHD resolution. It was inconvenient to use three monitors depending on the purpose.

Most of the gaming monitors I used before I bought this product were equipped with curved displays and were only used for gaming purposes because they were not suitable for photography in terms of color representation and clarity. The LG 32GK850F has twice the price of this affordable curved gaming monitor, but I feel that I can play both photos and videos on the electromart and integrate the two monitors into one.

The stand supports high-level and pivot (90-degree rotation), making it more versatile. You can check various components with convenient functions such as built-in USB 3.0 hub.

Various connectors are located at the center of the back, and a red point design has been added. One DP port and two HDMI ports are supported, and a USB 3.0 hub is built in for convenient connection of a keyboard or mouse. There is a headphone output terminal, but it does not have its own speaker.

The stand is configured for convenient installation without the need for a separate tool.

Display quality confirmation is enclosed. Gamma, color temperature, and other measurement results are provided to make it even more reliable. Equipped with a VA panel that supports HDR (High Dynamic Range) and supports 95% DCI-PI color gamut. It has a 400cd brightness, 3,000: 1 contrast ratio and a basic 5ms response time. This is possible.

It is located on a desk. The right side is the Samsung S32D85 model which was used for photo editing and work, and it has a 32 inch display on VA panel. I have used various gaming monitors for the past several years, but I have always kept a monitor for photography work. The first is that most of the gaming monitors are composed of curved displays and are not suitable for photography. Secondly, It was impossible.

I felt that using the LG 32GK850F monitor would be good enough for taking pictures, day-to-day computing, high-gaming gaming, and other 4K resolution monitors for video and TV use, We were pleased with the monitor for photo work and the big difference in color and clarity when playing photos and movies.

Next, let's take a look at the gaming effectiveness of the monitor itself. It offers a variety of game mode presets that can be used to brighten or darken the screen, or to fit in an FPS game. The sRGB mode is also used to show color and sharpness for everyday tasks and photo editing. With HDR10 support, it is also a big advantage to enjoy richer color gamut in PlayStation or HDR supported games.

It supports AMD FreeSync 2, so you can enjoy smooth screen without tearing, especially at FPS games with a refresh rate of 144Hz. It also responds faster with a 1ms response rate.

If play PUBG at 144Hz in QHD (2560x1440) resolution, will need some investment in the performance of your GTX1080 or higher graphics card, but it is your personal favorite resolution and refresh rate. I have been using the LG 32GK850F monitor for 5 months now and it is a very satisfying product because it has a flat display that is not curved, good color and sharpness, high refresh rate of 144Hz, swivel, tilt and pivot. If you are a gaming user who does not need 4K resolution, I think can use it satisfactorily in all situations. End the reviews.
